NH Divorce Law – New Hampshire Family Law Attorney
At our firm, Family Law is our primary focus and most of what we do, with NH Divorce Law and Mediation being key focus areas of our practice. We are in the local family law courts often, and we are familiar with the Judges or Marital Masters who hear your cases. While we cannot predict outcomes for you, but we can guide you through the process with the knowledge of what to expect in certain courts that comes from many years of experience. If it pertains to New Hampshire Divorce Law and Mediation issues, including Child Custody, Child Support or NH Family Law, we are a well-respected legal resource.
So what can you expect going through this process? In New Hampshire, in most cases, you can expect to be required to go through mediation; you can expect that the Court will start with a presumption in most cases that having both parents actively involved in a child’s life will be what is best for them; you can expect that the Court will begin its analysis of Child Support by applying the New Hampshire Child Support Guidelines; and if alimony is at issue in your case, you can expect that the New Hampshire Courts will likely be more conservative in ordering alimony than many surrounding states.
Of course, there are exceptions to every rule. Depending on the issues in your individual case, you may need to expect the unexpected.
Our role in this is to guide you through the process in the best way we can, with our knowledge and experience in the area courts. We want to be able to assist you, whether your budget allows for full representation or limited representation. Knowing what your rights are and what you have at risk with these important issues can be very valuable as you work your way through the legal system.
